Camp Cardiac, Camp Neuro and Camp MD at the University of Utah
Camp Cardiac, Camp Neuro and Camp MD are 1-week summer day camps open to all high school students at least 15 years and older. These camps provide an excellent starting point for careers in all fields of medicine. Camp Cardiac will be July 13th-17th, Camp Neuro will be June 8-12th, and Camp MD is July 27th-31st. They are at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Standard application and tuition for Camp Cardiac and Camp Neuro is $525. Camp MD tuition is $240. Scholarships are available.

The Glen L. Rudd Scholarship foundation would like to assist in the higher education of Polynesian individuals involved in service and other positive activities. Application and essay information is online.

Stuck at Prom Duct Tape Scholarship
The duct tape scholarship belongs on every odd scholarship list. Do you have enough confidence to design and wear a prom dress or suit made from duct tape? Use duct tape to create prom outfits and accessories and enter a photograph to the online scholarship contest. THIS CONTEST OPENS ON APRIL 1, 2020!!

AFSA National High School Essay Contest
The AFSA High School Essay Contest is an outreach initiative of the American Foreign Service Association. Established in 1999, the annual contest encourages students to think critically about a topic of global significance and the key role diplomacy plays in connecting people and ideas.
This year's contest is about why diplomacy and peace-building matter. The 2020 winning essayist will receive a $2,500 cash prize, an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to meet the Secretary of State, and full tuition for a Semester at Sea voyage (once the student is enrolled at an accredited university). The runner-up will win a full scholarship to participate in the International Diplomacy program of the National Student Leadership Conference.
Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen. "High school" refers to grades 9-12. Students whose parents are in the American Foreign Service are not eligible.
In a 1,000-1,250 word essay essay identify how members of the Foreign Service work with other civilian parts of the U.S. Government to promote peace, national security and economic prosperity.

Pearson Butler Scholarship
This Scholarship was established to recognize outstanding High School students who have overcome trials in their life and are choosing to further their education after graduation.

500-UHEAA 2020 Plan head for College Costs Scholarship Contest
The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) is proud to announce its third annual scholarship contest for 8th - 11th graders. The goal of this scholarship contest is to help middle school and high school students become familiar with the scholarship application process earlier in their school career and proactively understand and prepare for their future college costs. In Spring 2020, UHEAA will award one $500 scholarship to an 8th grade winner, one $500 scholarship to a 9th grade winner, one $750 scholarship to a 10th grade winner, and one $750 scholarship to an 11th grade winner.
Visit CompleteScholarships.org, choose "Login", then create a Complete Scholarships account. Once your account is created, you will be asked a series of matching questions - once these questions are answered, you should automatically be matched to the relevant 2020 Plan Ahead for College Costs Scholarship (under the "Scholarships" tab in your account). Complete the 2020 Plan Ahead for College Costs application. We'll ask you to use the FAFAS4Caster or a college Net Price Calculator to estimate your college expenses and future financial aid, then write an essay about the steps you will take before senior year to financially prepare for college.
