Lighthouse Guild Scholarship Program
This is an annual scholarship program for college-bound high school and graduate students who are legally blind.  Here are the requirements:
  • complete application form online
  • proof of legal blindness
  • proof of US citizenship or legal residency
  • documentation of academic achievement
  • three letters of recommendation
  • for college-bound applicants, two personal statements are required:  one about the applicant and the second describing the influence of an outstanding teacher
  • your chosen college must be accredited by a body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
  • all college admissions policies must be non-denominational, open to applicants of all religions, faiths and beliefs

Amount:  up to $10,000

LifeLine Utah Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students who are graduating this year and planning to attend college/university this fall.  Here are the eligibility requirements:
  • 1,200 - 1,500 word ​essay on how you plan to design your success in life.

Hunt Electric Merit Scholarship
This award has been created to reward a driven, hard-working individual with aspirations and intentions of joining the electrical industry by undergoing the necessary training and post-secondary education to become a Journeyman Electrician.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must have or be on track to earn their high school diploma
  • Earned a minimum of a 2.5 GPA at the time of high school graduation
  • Proven above average attendance throughout their secondary schooling
  • Been free of corrective action measures from the administration
  • Demonstration of merit, by endorsement of CTE Administration, a notable, positive work ethic and overall effort given in achieving their personal and scholastic goals

  • Displayed positive leadership skills in their high school activities and community involvement
  • Ability to pass a back-ground check and post-employment offer drug screen
Be sure to include:
  • A copy of candidates most recent report card showing accumulative GPA
  • Merit endorsement from CTE/Administration as noted above.
  • Year-to-date attendance records showing absences, tardiness, etc

Amount:  Full Ride (all tuition, books, fees, and parking expenses for 8 electrical course semesters)

Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships
Available scholarships range from $1000-$10,000 and will be awarded to students attending colleges and ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary Automotive, Collision, HD or Alternate Fuel programs.
