For Utah Scholarship
This is a scholarship offered by the University of Utah for students who qualify for a Pell Grant. It will pay for 4 years of tuition and fees for all who are eligible.
 
Eligibility requirements:
·       Utah residents
·       First-time freshmen
·       High school average GPA of at least 3.2
·       Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and subsequent Pell Grant eligibility
·       For continued eligibility, students will need to be enrolled full time for eight semesters and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA
 
Amount: Full tuition and fees for 4 years
Deadline: waived for 2020

University of Utah Access Scholarship
The ACCESS Scholarship provides freshmen and transfer students, from a variety of backgrounds, with a supportive path into STEM degrees and careers. The scholarship covers all educational expenses associated with ACCESS, including a summer residential experience (freshmen live on campus) and earning upper division course credits. The year culminates in a Spring semester research opportunity. Application includes two personal essays, two letters of recommendation, resume and transcript.

​The Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award
The Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award is a $5,000 college scholarship awarded to an altruistic young person who strives to serve the local and global community. A panel of judges comprised of community leaders will select the 2020 Utah Young Humanitarian. If you are a young person who is active in serving your community, apply for this scholarship award today. Three runners-up will receive a $1,000 college scholarship.

Though our society recognizes young people for their accomplishments in sports and academics, this is an award that celebrates outstanding humanitarian service among youth. Promoting humanitarian service among youth is the reason behind this annual tribute, sponsored in its tenth year by the George S & Dolores Eccles Foundation. High school students and undergraduate students are eligible to apply.

FCCLA Scholarships
You must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements in order to apply for any of the scholarships that are offered through Utah FCCLA.  Here are the requirements:
  • must pursue a major in Family and Consumer Sciences education in a Utah College or University
  • active affiliated FCCLA member (for a minimum of two years), who has made outstanding contributions to FCCLA
  • has an overall scholastic standing of at least a "B' (3.0 cum GPA) for the four years of high school
  • possesses desirable personal qualities as appropriate grooming, punctuality, dependability, responsibility and is well-mannered
  • has shown leadership in school and community
How to apply:
  • complete application Parts I-VI
  • ask three people listed in Part IV to write a letter of recommendation.  Include them in your scholarship application.
  • guidance counselor should complete Part V

​Utah State University - Educational Opportunity Scholarship Application 
A Utah State University Scholarship.  Seniors can also apply and interview for this scholarship if eligible during Diversity Day.
Requirements:
 - Minimum 3.5 GPA
 - Minimum 103 Index and 20 ACT/940 SAT (written portion NOT required)
 - Consideration based on 1st generation, ethnicity, and demonstration of financial need
 - Applicants agree to use the scholarship in consecutive semesters, unless a deferment or leave of absence is requested (military service, medical considerations, or church service)
 - Students awarded the scholarship can only use the scholarship on the USU Logan Main campus
 - A personal essay must accompany the application (1-2 pages, double-spaced)
Your essay should include:
 - What personal/social barriers have you had to overcome to get to where you are today?
 - Why do you want to go to college and what are your goals after college?
 - What involvement/leadership opportunities have you had in your high school and/or community?
 - What financial needs do you face regarding college?
 - Why do you think you would be a good recipient for this scholarship?

National Society of Professional Engineers Educational Foundation
The Maureen and Howard Blitman Scholarship to promote diversity in engineering.

Qualifications:
  • Member of an underrepresented ethnic minority in the field of engineering
  • Accepted into an ABET (Accredited Board of Engineering and Technology program at a 4-year college)
  • GPA and ACT scores will be considered in selection
  • US Citizen

Amount: $5,000
